Honda door handle removal

    I don’t get many of these civics, I can’t get the dam handle out. I’ve got both 10mm’s out but I cant figure out how to pop the clip. Help Me !!!!

    Theirs a U-shaped Clip, you need to use a small flat screwdriver & just try and pop it out. Their a bit of a pain, you cant see it but its goes around the lock cylendar, you need to pop it downward.

    There is a four piece pick set in the tool section at Wal Mart that works great for this. Made by Stanley, about $5.

    Agree..i used to work at a Honda bodyshop and took out tons of those things. The picks worked well, I found the real stubborn ones you had to start with a small slot screwdriver, then finish off with the pick.
