the best way i have found is to sub it out to a glass company which we do for almost all of our glass work. the tool i posted is what our glass guy uses alot. he also sprays something around the glass onto the urethane b/4 he starts i am assuming to soften the urethane abit? anyone have any idea what it is?? as i have never thought to ask him.

yea its just water to lubricate the blade. the machine looks like its bulky and it kinda pricey. i have some shopping around to do before i start the glass work full time.
January 1, 2011 at 12:51 am #26680It’s a type of primer that they use before gluing the glass back in. We also sub out all of our glue-in glass work and I watch him use the stuff every time he does a windshield.

I’ve used one like that and wasn’t overly impressed.
