i really getting bored of this custom crap. i need to be challanged. i mean once you do a custom 2 tone with metal flake chrysler 300, everything else is meaningless. so we got a indgo blue chevy tk. in. the first i’ve ever seen with dub stripes, old 327 badge (stolen off jays camero:p ) corvette badge on the fenders along with ss badges. the paint is decent nice hood. so we had to replace the lower valance on the front bumper, abs plastic. repaired a few spots and repainted with the stripes. oh did i forget to add, that it has to go by 5 and it’s 4 now, plus for a little added challange that 4 runner also has to be ready to go by 5 too. NICE.:clappy :hunt

ok now it’s important not to remove the runs left by the previous shop. you know how picky a customer can be.:kofee

first we start with 2 oz rts indgo blue.

then we tape off the previous layed out stripe, with some charcoal pinstripe and some norton/carbo yellow tape.

then finish off with a gallon of standard 8624 white. i know a gallon, lil excessive ain’t? hey you have to build up the stripe line, remember back to pre wreck conditions.:deadhorse

and of course, like bondo say’s more is better, and we can’t waste bake time, so for a little added drama, you throw in a 4 runner. custome tape to spot the lower lift gate, and the rear cover.

well, i used enviro on the 4 runner, and dbc on the bumper. i didn’t even seal the new part, so go figure on why it looks whiter.

that is an ugly hood and a strange way to stripe the front end but good job on the repair anyway!
