hi all, recently,i got a issue with my base gun iwata w400.
does any one here know how to clean the inside of gun body?
i broke it down and do the maintain last night, and i found inside of the gun is very dirty.and i tried soak in the gun wash then brush the shit out,but its too tough. and i believe this is why i got dirt in the base.(im sure i clean the tack good before start and double strain the paint)October 8, 2012 at 1:15 am #38521Other than what you said I cant think of any other solution, maybe soak it for longer and agetate it with a brush or a pick every few hours. I put a little paint stripper in my Sata KLC for 10-15 minutes once as some hi-build was really caked onto the inside of the gun body.

October 31, 2012 at 4:30 am #38839When mine gets nasty I take some aircraft stripper and pour it into a mixing cup and tear the gun down and soak it in it for about 10 min or so and then rinse it off with hot water and then blow it dry. Then take a can of carb cleaner and spray and scrub the insides out then run some reducer through it. I wouldnt do this with a cheap gun though it might eat the seals out of it. But I do this with my Iwata at least once a week.
