Kent Bumper Repair

I had this demoed at out shop recently and I have to say I found it a bit questionable. The nice feature about this is that it has a built in adhesion promoter so that step is not necessary when applying.
The uneasy part is the rest of the system. It came with a 1k sealer & a 1k high build primer. It was suggested to finish the repair in P120, then apply 1 coat of their aerosol sealer, followed by a few coats of their aerosol primer. Sand with 400 and paint.
I’m a bit skeptical in thinking this company has developed an aerosol primer that is suitable over 120 scratches. They must be way ahead of the big boys research department.
They went on to inform us that their product is used exclusively at a local bumper re-builder that we use regularly. oddly enough we have a problem with their bumpers sinking at the end of the bake cycle. I suspect the 1k primer is to blame.
So my conclusion is that the plastic adhesive itself is good, the rest is not.
I’m weeding out my kent inventory we have used it for years but I also have 3m and lord fuzor too after kent is done fuzor is next.
