Just to make it easier I figured I would make a bug thread. Here are the known issues I am working to resolve:

1.Quick Reply function not working in the forums
2.Shoutbox not refreshing On certain Internet Explorer versions.
3.Unable to edit your profile after registration, this won’t be resolved until mid april when the patch is released from the company who developed the program. You can email/message me if you require an update, just provide me with the details.

Thats all that I am aware of, please let me know if you experience anything out of the ordinary on the site and I will work to resolve it. Thanks!

The page will refresh blank with the admins email in the upper left hand corner for no apparent reason.

Is there an option to change the way the threads read? Im used to reading from top to bottom with new replys added at the bottom. Reading from the bottom up seems foreign to me.

My avatar isnt showing up yet.

can you tell me which web browser your using, with version.

    March 30, 2008 at 11:58 am #10022

Mozilla Firefox, the newest version, it just updated itself the other day.

*and I found the option for thread views, oldest to newest.

    March 30, 2008 at 12:04 pm #10023

I’ve found it to work best with firefox. I see the problem with the thread view, I accidentally set the new users to view that way by default. I’ll get that changed, users will have the option to change that one the patch is released for the profile fix.

Is the problem with the avatar when you try to upload or use one from the gallery? & have you experienced the reload error since, is it possible your mouse wandered? thanks for your input.

I don’t know if users are able to change that setting, hopefully you were able to change it in the profile settings, I think I may have coincidently change it for you.

I see the problem with the avatar, I had it set on requiring approval when uploading an avatar. I’ll take care of that too, sorry about that.

    March 30, 2008 at 12:13 pm #10026

I changed the option on thread views but it did not work.

My avatar uploaded fine and is visible at the top of the forum but not in my replys.

I tried to add a sig but it did not work.

My title says shop owner although I put in Autobody Repair Tech

My mouse does not wander, he is on a short leash! Plus I use a laptop with a touchpad. My fingers arent near the touchpad while Im typing.

    Yay Bozo is here!

The page tried to refresh again and went to the blank page with the admin email, it appeared to be stuck in refresh mode. I stopped it and it went back to the homepage.

I take it you don’t see a pattern on when its happening, is it pretty random? (nice avatar btw):woohoo:

I see their is a known issue with the ranks not assigning themselves properly, will have that fixed later today.

also with the signature’s, its part of the profile bug which I’m awaiting a patch for in mid April. I was going to go with a different profile editor but this one seems to have many nice features and will be a nice addition once they release the compatibility patch for the type of site I’m using. If you want a signature added for now please feel free to msg me & I can add it for you. I’ll see if I can find a better solution until then.

Alright I’ve got a better solution until the patch is released, You can now change your forum preferences / signatures in the my profile tab at the top of the discussion forum. You’ll end up having 2 profiles sort of, I’ll integrate them when I get the update. both profiles will still share the same avatar which you will need to change by selecting “change avatar” from the user menu.

As always THANK YOU BIG TIME for providing us, the ones of whom soil ourselves to repair what the ones who look down upon us drive to church, with a method of communication among our selves. This allows us to formulate method and tech of which will enable us to keep closer to even with the crappy, snide, underhanded and blatantly illegal scams and tricks promulgated upon our customers by the insurance Cartel..

I know that at times we all get most PO-d with the Cartel and the games they play. Thanks again for the patience you exhibit in letting some of blow a gasket now and then. One must realize that the stunts we endure daily are for real, in smack us all right in the dinner plate as owners or commission employees. We don’t go home at 5 o’clock with our ‘allowance’ pinned on our collars no matter what happens…

We live on a “fixed income” — IF IT AIN’T FIXED THERE IS NO INCOME!!!!!!

Many thanks again! All of your computer geek stuff makes little sense to me, as I am typing on the typewriter hooked to this TV thingy on my desk as we speak. I have yet to find what they make this ‘net’ thing out of, I don’t know if it is just string, of maybe rope,, gosh I don’t really know. But I would bet if the Cartel has anything to do with it, it would be make out of aftermarket fake rope or LKQ string from a junkyard!!!!!!!
