    Hey guys,

I was looking around for a search feature but I couldn’t find it so I’m just gonna make this thread.

Basically, I was just wondering if any of you got some feedback on Matrix System’s Accushade or Aqualution color systems and generally Matrix products like their clears and so on.

Do they have a positive reputation in the states ? What about color matching ?

Would love to hear some feedback on them.

    Best regards,
    Krono

used to use their clears and primers. only used their top of line stuff and i did like it except that the clears are rock hard. on flexible items they crack and shatter if just slightly flexed. if you do a bumper get it on the car in a day or two. of course im going back 8-9 years or so. other than that it was great stuff. never used their color.

Well, 8-9 years is a very VERY long time for a company to develop new products so I’ll take your feedback with a grain of salt.

    Thanks though 😉

I put matrix in my shop a little while back. It’s okay base and it’s great for what I do (high production dealer work). It’s not really great at one thing but it’s good at all. Clears are good and fast, primers are a bit thinner than I’m used to but are overall good. Overall I’m happy with the system…..

We talkin about the Accushade (solvent) or Aqualution (water based) system ?
What’s the system like when it comes to color matching ? Are you having any problems with that ? Because Matrix usually boast in an unparallel color matching system…

I’m using solvent (a cushade). Color has been good so far, 85% mix and spray. The othe percent is blendable or just needs a tweak or two. To many alternate though! GM 928L and Chrylser PA4 have like 13 to 17 alternates plus the primary! No joke but I just mix primary and tweak it from there. Matrix has promised me a full set a brand new complete alternate chip book set. Well see….
