I need to paint a new mirror for an ’09 Acadia. The color is white diamond (wa 800j). It has an LED directional light on the mirror casing.
Would you guys take it apart in order paint and ensure that there is adequate coverage? It looks hard to get in between the support and the casing.
Does the mirror simply pop off to give access to the led light and the support arm?
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
KentWhat would you charge to do this mirror?
Well I have no experience with the GM.
But a lot of the newer fords simply have a ball joint in there, you basically get behind the mirror and pop the joint from the ball and the glass comes right out. And I’d assume the marker either pushes right in, or is bolted on.Now like I said, this is ford. And I have no idea how GM does it. so you might want to look first, or just wait until someone with more experience shows up before you go yanking on the glass.
