Now I am busy doing a color change to a light Grey metallic on this Fat Boy.

November 3, 2009 at 12:02 am #16735thats funny!! i dont know exactly where you are but all the islands i have been to the cars are so beat up i didn’t even think there was bodyshops. most look like they have been beat to hell for 30 years then when completely trashed the hood gets taken off and used for a roof on a house!! keep up the good work there. looks like so nice metal work. we complain about paint prices here. i bet they are pretty killer where you are.

November 3, 2009 at 12:23 am #16737Hi Jim,
I am living in Kinshasa the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (former Zaire)
You actually find a lot of SUV here as the roads are so bad but of course there is a lot of wrecks rolling around too.
The Autobase is $65 for a liter and the clear is $50. The main problem is to find material, often they are out of stock and you have to buy some other brand and mix.November 3, 2009 at 7:11 am #16753i’m not familiar with the pricing on that base and clear but that doesn’t seem bad at all. you would figure that being somewhat remote the prices of materials would be crazy. they are crazy here and you can find stuff on every corner.
December 10, 2009 at 9:57 pm #17722The owner came and picked up the Hd this afternoon. I’m quite happy with the result and most important the owner was very happy.
