    I just bought one of the Copper Tekna guns a few months ago. I’ve only used it a couple of times and love it and the price was fantastic. I tried it with water base and intend it to be a base gun. Just for $hits and giggles I sprayed some clear through it, and was very impressed. I think it sprayed the base better than the SATA, and was about as good as the SATA RP for clear. I do give SATA the leading edge as far as easy cleaning goes…

    When I start doing more painting again, I think I will buy another one for clear.

    got 1.2 and 1.3 tips with both guns.. used the 1.2 for base today and think i will try the 1.3 for base tomorrow.. i will have a better idea of these guns in a couple more days but they seemed to work really well…

    so here is what i got after using them for 2 days.. they work really really well for basecoat best i have used and liked for that.. As for clear coat it will lay it down really nice but it is a little slower then the RP..U have to remember i have an adiction to devilbiss guns so others may not like these guns at all:whistle: .. saying that i have tried most other brands of guns. Sata are awesome guns.. and iwata i did not like at all…

    What caps are you spraying with? Are they the hvlp or compliant?
