thanks guys !
done the bay today … fully stripted sanded and sealed …..was going to go the full on smothed look but decided against it!
so scuffed the paint applied one coat of epoxy to seal up metal/paint then fired some thinned stone chip down so it was a slight textured look then made up a grey from bmw pure silver and panther black  then 3 coats of debeer clear coat

thought grey bay would be a nice contrast on black !
now i am going to simplify the wiring as i am using standalone ecu i can get rid of the bulk of bay wiring just keep wires for the wipers and the lights = i will chop these at the fuse box and run a new extended loom down the legs on both sides
then i am into the engine / strip down/sandblast/clean/ paint and fit the throttle boddies
pics to come as it happens
well shes in paint for the last time lol
and decided to stick with black with a red/copper/green xirralic through it gave it some pop in the right light!!

masked up ready for paint
