I’ve used a lot of Nason and Omni over the years on cheap jobs. Of course, I must say first before hand that if it were my Fairlane I would spend the extra couple hundred $ and buy better product since neither the Nason or Omni has quite the same quality of resin and UV protection as the better paints.

But in any case I have found both the Nason and Omni to be easy to apply and if you are comfortable with the product you can get a great finish (smooth with excellent gloss and DOI/depth). I personally prefer the Nason slightly more than the Omni, myself.

As far as coverage goes, I would highly recommend a sealer. The coverage for both the Nason and Omni is not the best, although if you are spraying the Nason and you are not trying to hide too much you can get adequate results.

Do yourself a favor and do it in ppg concept single stage, for a solid color it will look like a million bucks. Also keep in mind you will use more material if you use cheap paint,so the more you use the more it costs and it is not a bargain in the end. Also check into u-tech ,it is a fleet paint system that has incredible gloss and coverage at a great price,it is owned by akzo nobel(sikkens).

The concept SS is also really easy to use and gives a great finish. It covers better than Nason and Omni and has much better holdout. It is a very good quality product and a much more durtable resin than the Omni AU.

PPG concept single stage is some good stuff! I would stay away from “Omni”.
