allright let me start off by saying my car is all primed wet sanded and ready for paint i did all the body work prep work primer everything myself.
and this is how it sits right now..

i went to go buy some paint for it i grabbed omni plus paint colour code nh-0 and thats called championship white
later on i went to buy clear coati dont no how the clear coat process workk.( i know how to use it but not the mixing part)
i need mixing instructions
and also wondering if ill need reducer?
and this is what i got from a near body shop. u-pol with hardner

December 19, 2010 at 10:47 am #26288well it mixes 4 parts clear ta 1 part hardener or activator ya shouldnt need any reducer for it an ya might wanna take that fast activator back an get some medium activator
December 19, 2010 at 7:11 pm #26295What kind of plastic are you using to mask with? If it is some plastic from a home supply store don’t spray directly on it. Make sure it is made for masking cars and it corona treated or else the paint will fly off of it.

I heard rumors that you wanted to convert your shop to a Maaco franchise…”Bondo’s Maaco Hut” I can just picture it now :rofl
Honestly though, you could probably buy a high quality single stage for the same price (or less) than what low end base/clear costs. Maybe its just me, or that fact that I was originally taught with S.S., but I am just a big fan of it, especially when doing a complete (where you aren’t matching a colour).
