Hey Ben. I use the g3 and g6 which are both great, I’ve also got the farecla g3 rage in the black bottles. Have you tried the farecla super gloss yellow wax ;), what’s this ultra is a new formula to replace the yellow bottle which is the liquid compound g3
January 8, 2013 at 6:40 am #40212X4 also switch from norton to 3m, also heard marquis has some good suff but also pricey.
January 8, 2013 at 8:00 am #40214What we have found is a real lambs wool pad from farecla with G4(specifically for hard clears like superior 250)works very well.
I am just wondering if anyone has had a chance to try the new Farecla polishes yet? I think it is the G3 Ultra and something else? Just wondering how they compare to the existing Farecla products, if it is worth ordering in?
We have been using 3m’s “fastcut plus” for many years, i kinda swerved away from farecla they seemed to lose their way a bit over the last few years, loads and loads of products all doing the same job.
their poster of product’s was getting huge 😆
Though for some reason G3 Ultra kinda caught my eye, i also heard that farecla are slimming down their product range considerably, as even they realize it has gotten out of control.
I have used Ultra a few times, it is very fast with a very good cut, and hardly any traveling splatter.
It is noticeably a very heavy and dense product, you only need a pretty small blob of product.
All in all i would say it is definitely one of the best products they have released in recent years

I’ve also been on FC+ for a long time but have thought about trying the new Ultra. Based on your review I think I’ll give it a go.
To be honest I haven’t used 3M compound enough in a production shop to compare it to the farecla. Been using the farecla extra as its called here in Australia for about a month now and I find it to be super quick! No mess and so far no rub marks have reappeared. The farecla I used before this was the G6 rapid and this doesn’t even compare to the new formula! 😉
