    That makes two of us. I’m new here and also live in michigan. I sure hope I can last 30 years. That’s a hugh achievment considering the past repair techniques and ,cough, safety standards.

    Yes their have been major changes in products since I started.

    When I started I was using lacquer & enamel paints, used a face mask to paint, no gloves, a so-called booth.
    Now we are useing waterborne paint, air supplied breathing systems, paint suits, gloves, downdraft bakeing booths, have a mixing system onsite.
    Sometimes change is good.
