This was a flat dark earth base and then laser engraved the skull in it:

[img]http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e187/Hypercomp01/CIMG4042.jpg[/img]I think its just a base paint job the rest is usually done with a decal applied while in water I have seen it done before I only say that because the vice grips have a perfect pattern on them and who would mask the paper and vice grips.

Yeah, the first one is a hydro transfer graphic. It’s a base coat, the a pattern then clear. No way you can mask that kind of detail, the other two hand guns are simple masks. The base is a 12:1 matte single stage, I heard it was Sherwin based. Dunno but it’s pretty strong stuff…
