Progress has been slow around here last two weeks between going back to work full time and honey do’s and Moms wanting this or that.(For those that don’t know my wife and I care for my Ailing mother who’s had a bad Stroke.) With going back too work that will slow down my body work for a while.

Tinkered with the kids car a bit today
While I didn’t take very good before pictures not only did I have to remove the headlight bucket I also had to drill apart the inner structure of the fender behind the headlight bucket so it could be repaired as well there was no other way to get behind it. after words I just welded up the spot weld cutter holes back to the piece, and ground the welds down.

Here is what the fender started out like, Like the Roof I really wanted a new Fender but these things are long gone out of the wreaking yards around here. And I am not paying more for shipping than the part costs to buy from the other side of the country.

    Yes I am!!!!
I’m not getting paid for these jobs, Intrepid guy stiffed me! :S  He’s bitchin how much materials cost him.
No more friend deals with out work orders so every thing is spelled out, I knew better! Live and learn.

Any way I wish I knew more about sheet metal
Tried welding in good size patch on a rusty door cooling every spot weld with air and it still warped the skin above the patch although not bad its still too much too fill with filler in my opinion.
What to do with that one?
Was thinking maybe hammering the spot beads might get some of it back???? any ideas?????
