overspray

    Need help!Son got spray paint overspray on 71 demon.I tried a buffer with scratch/swirlmark remover and it helped but not completely removed it.Can I use 2000 grit sandpaper and wet sand it?

    Clay bar and buy the bottle of the meguires detail spray to go with it. Yes, you can wet sand with 2000 then polish. But if the clay will work, it will be MUCH MUCH easier and less risky than sanding/polishing.

    If it is on the glass you can use ultra fine steel wool and/or a razor blade.

    meguires daimond cut #85 with a wool pad will cut,…… swirl remover don’t cut much nor does a foam pad, follow up with some swirl remover to take out the wool pad/#85 scratches 😉

    wax and grease remover might work if there was a good coat of wax on it :pcorn:
