    For shops with more than one painter,do you have that guy/guys who leaves the booth looking like a bomb just went off?
    Sandpaper,tackrags,blue rags,plastic bags,masking paper bits,and tape,hell even peanut shells!!!!
    WHO THE HELL IS THAT HUNGRY YOU HAVE TO EAT IN THE BOOTH?????????
    And the clown is so effing dosey he does this all the time.

    Nope not me I am the one who keeps our booths clean and sands and repaints them,washes them and re wall coats.I hate lazy jerks with no self pride :hunt

    I wish I had pics of the floor from there.

    The paint had to be an inch thick EXCEPT where the painter walked around the car.

    Why don’t you guys hire a company to clean it? I know a company out of Toronto that does that sort of thing and they clean the stacks, pits, tunnel,lights etc as well. Well worth the money atleast once a year.

    I think most of use would love that. Unfortunately, if you are working somewhere like where I am, that is not an option. Must do that ourselves. Some shop owners don’t seem to believe in preventative maintenance.

    My view is that the shop owner buys the booth and gives it to you to work in. YOU make the mess, you should clean it.

    Do you clean your guns everyday?

    There’s no reason in the world booth should get that dirty.

    I got a laugh out of the prep station pic. reminds me of the bodymen’s areas, they just leave everything including tools wherever they worked last. Yesterday one backed out a car and ran over his wetsand bucket.
