Ok doing a bit of work on my uncles very rough work vehicle. The back bumper was damaged and push up a bit so that was causing the tailgate to hit it and has left some stone chips. Now he wants the repair cheap as possible so i don’t really wanna repair the full tail gate. I have water base mixed for the other damage. and obviously i’ll be using proper 2k clear so can i just touch a bit of clear over the chips, flatten and polish it?

It would be faster to do the complete tailgate. By the time it takes to play around with it you could have it sanded and repaired and be done with it.
