    hey guys i am doing a car at the min and the customer wants it aston martin db9 white

    so its a white ground coat …then a top coat which has xirallic of 3 shades in it

    i am a good every day painter but have never done anything like this before

    any 1 give me any hints of painting xirallics

    Never heard of xirallic- what paint line are you using?

    dont let the name aston martin or xirellic pearl scare you. its just paint. the xirellic pearls spray the same as any tricoat. keep a good consistant 50-75% overlap, walk the side of the car. make sure to spray a test panel to see how many coats you need to get the shade the customer wants

    sweet nice 1 i take it the more coats of xirallic the more blue flippy way it goes ?

    also sorry what about the checks ??

    this is on a full repsray and i usualy do the checks first and close the door s and do the body ….will this still be an ok method

    just dont want it to turn out like a picture frame afect around the doors etc
