I have painted several Greyhound buses for local churches over the years. In all cases they seem to want a few of the windows “blacked” out or making it impossible to see out of and into. The first one I removed the windows and replaced with Tyvec, plywood and metal which I painted over. The last bus I painted I put vinyl over the windows the color to the paint. In each case the customer was pleased. I am entertaining the idea of painting over the windows this time with the same PPG Commercial paint that I am using on the van. Does anyone have any suggestions, warnings, or advice?

I guess you want to leave the glass in the van so I dont see why scuffing the glass well with say 180 on the DA wouldnt work?
Why not get a piece of glass to try it out on?
That way you could see how durable it is against the weather or a high pressure power washer.
