The supplier said its around $575 nondigital.good deal? And tip size 1.4 is that hood for clear? Cuz the 3000 i have is 1.2 work fine for me! Thinking about can I handle 1.4 , I’m working in a nonstop shop I need spray faster
$575 is average, thats what i payed for mine. Defently go with the 1.4, still not going to be a fast gun tho.
If you want to spray faster put a 1.4 in your 3000 😉
I agree, the 3000 is the faster of the 2.
I bought my non digital 4000 for $430 locally earlier this year. I think retail was about double that.
What do u used that 4000 for?size? And 3000 faster than 4000?
Ben I know u use tekna too right? How is it for clear?
Smooth do u like that for clear?any different than 3000?
I use my 4000 strictly for clear. It is slower than the 3000, but that suits my spraying style better.
I use my teknas for sealer and base. I have tried them for clear, and they are nice, and lay down a great finish, but for clear, the tekna is slow.
If speed is your primary concern, the 3000RP is the best modern gun, in my opinion.

Yes i use my 4000 for clear only. Like Ben i use my tekna’s for sealer and base. I cant compare to the 3000. Never used one.
Don’t forget about the first gen rp,it works great with good speed also 😉

Thats interesting,my jobber said you can’t get them anymore.If someone wants one they better hurry.iwata w400 with the old lv2 tip in 1.4 is purtyfast forclear also but i like the rp 3000 in 1.4 also either one works well with sikkens hs clear
