Hey guys I switched over to PPG Envirobase a few months ago and was wondering if anyone used the Deltron DAS Sealers under it. I have a few gallons on the shelf so I would like to use them up if possible. I noticed that sealer is not listed in the tech sheet. It may not be listed because it’s not a low VOC sealer. My supplier did set me up with the envirobase sealers which I do like. They flow out a lot better, but if I can use up the DAS on certain jobs that would be great. Please let me know. Thanks
They don’t recomend it under the water base as it is slower to flash and dry to get the solvents out of it. so if u let the sealer sit for an hour u might be ok but why risk playing junior chemist and then redo them all in 6 months.. if it is the new and improved das sealer i personally thought they made it worse when they tried to improve it and now use the ecs sealers under solvent.. u could call ppg and see if they have a yes or no. prob be no as it is not listed on the tech sheets..
