Probably the reason that when I sent an email asking if what he was selling on ebay was actually deltron and not omni he never replied. I bet PPG would not be happy to find out that one of their suppliers is listing and selling a false product on Ebay. Not to mention Ebay probably wouldn’t like it.
August 10, 2013 at 9:38 pm #44003well at least you didn’t give him any money and buy into his scam :cheers
Yeah the tri coat is for sure out of the question now. I really don’t want to spend $1000 just on paint without clear. I’ve really been wanting to to try out some Spies Hecker or R-M and Glasurit so I will probably look into that. I can get the Glasurit 923-255 and Spies 8035 locally. Cheapest and easiest route would be to paint it back black but the upkeep is too much. Back to the drawing boards!
August 10, 2013 at 10:38 pm #44005I hate to break it to you but you are going to spend in the neighborhood of $1500 just for primer base and clear for that truck without the other materials.Glasso and spies will be more expensive. If you are concerned with price use a white primer and sealer get omni plus base and put concept 2021 clear on it.No real cheap way around it,tri stage is expensive especially doing a color change, good luck :cheers
