When I was using the envirobase after spraying the base I would run warm water thru my gun and it cleaned up nicely

i have a specail pre spray that i spray though the gun, amonia mixed with sx1005, and then run it through my special wb gun cleaner. the machine we have can recyle the water cleaner 10x over before haveing to replace the water. also they will recommend and you should use the 3m pps wb cups you can’t use the regular ones.(keep away from the cheap brands, i’ve used the carbo ones and they caused a lot of trash even though they were the wb ones). also i too highly recomend you break the gun down every 2 days. belive me once a week isn’t enough. also like sugessted use a thinner bottle and run some through it too.
thanks for the input lild. We have the Garmat fans on the ceiling of the booths right now. We had them installed a few months ago and we have been using them for our solvent and they do move a lot of air so I will have to do a little experimenting with everything when we get switched over. On the part of keeping your gun clean is there a special cleaner you can use (other than the cleaner you would use to clean your gun out after painting) maybe as a cleaner to use once a week to really clean your gun out? After hearing everyone’s response on the sealer, I’m going to seal everything!!! The guys I work with won’t seal primer unless the HAVE to so we will get to see how it goes both ways. Can’t wait to keep everyone updated on the change!!!! One month and counting!!! P.S. just sent in my paper work for the PPG certification
those ceiling fans i heard are nice, and the reps. that i trained with really liked them. they told me that with those the paint can dry in as little as 3 mins..
a lillte warning the control coat will wear you out, so do some cardio work outs. 😛
since you got to go for thr traing ask them about the epa area source rule, and see if they wiil include that in the traing. ppg just held a course here and now i have that part out of the way and i have the epa certfication now. might of as well kill two birds with one stone.
