and if it doesnt work over water it cheap enough that you wont feel guilty about throwing it out 😉

I bought a gallon of FC710 to spray a couple of cars at home. I am sold on this stuff! I have been spraying sherwins top shelf clears for about 10 years and I would put FC710 right up with them. At 80.00 a gallon sprayable you cant go wrong with it. My sherwin rep thinks that FC710 and 720 are the old cc739 with a few tweaks to it.

After the weekend the panel still looks good. I dont think it shrunk or lost its gloss at all. Gonna try 1 more probably a bigger panel just to make sure, before I do it on one that counts. Thanks for the info on this product

Yep, I’ve played around with quite a few clears (Over solvent)
And by far for hold out and ease of use as well as price, I think the FC720 & 710 are my favorite.

I’ve been a little curious on how this works over water based products.
Been thinking about switching over for a bit now.

as for ppg clears, the dc lines are good, and made for air dry applications. dc3000 is a fast clear, with dc4000 being slower.

Only clear I’ve used over water is PPG Global never had any problems with greta finish, other than that I use PPG dc4000 works amazing for the enviroment I spray in(over solvents tho)
