Well we are close to getting our new prep station completed. We found a shop that was getting rid of one of their’s and got a pretty good deal on it. It is a clean shop downdraft unit with a recirculate setting that should allow us to keep our shop a bit warmer during the winter months. I have never sprayed in a prep station and was wondering if anyone has any lessons learned type of thing that they can share. I was concerned about lighting but it seems like the overhead lighting should do a good job for what we will be using it for. We will still have our regular cross draft for the bigger jobs, but we will be using this for alot of the smaller jobs.

we have a double prep station and they work fine for spraying. ours has lights on the top only and it seem to be ok.
Great for doing 2 jobs at once.
