Thanks guys.
Looks even brighter in real life, but as Nick said it would have been easier to do a smaller vehicle, especially given the cramped size of the booth.
February 20, 2011 at 8:30 pm #28764Looks great Andy :cheers Wow your buddy will be proud to drive that around now. Your a top notch guy to bring your own fuel also, I would let someone like you use my booth anytime.

February 21, 2011 at 12:02 am #28784
i never tried the 214, how does it buff?
Very nicely indeed.
It’s listed as a scratch resistant product, but you wouldn’t know it when buffing, even after a bake and a couple of days of sitting around. It may be a couple of weeks before I get around to buffing this job, but I’m not concerned 😉
April 2, 2011 at 9:52 pm #30039Not quite finished I’m afraid
I’ve more or less finished my part, but the owner is a busy guy, just like me, so hasn’t quite got it all back together yet. Around another half a day should do it, but he can’t find that half a day! And now that I’ve polished up some of the chrome, he’s decided to get the wheels re-chromed to match.
Here’s how it looks atm:

April 4, 2011 at 5:10 am #30081Love it – looks great. I’ve had so many projects that go like that…everything was fine until the paint, once the paint is done the rest looks like it needs an upgrade!
