Just wondering what kind of primer youre using? Martin? I dont know what martins part numbers are or if they or sherwin offer a cheeper line. We only use P30 in sherwin. Its their top line primer and I dont want to spend the money on it.

You can use the Acme 2k. It used to be the 15222 if I recall? But alot of Martins cheaper lines clears and primers got relabeled to Acme. Keeps it simple I guess. It’s available at Napa. It’s cheap.

Thanks Guys! I will give the cp440 a try. What is the diff in the two primers? Does it take an additive to make them a sealer?

The CP440 is a high build urethane.
    The CS293 is a Sealer.

Thanks! Got a couple of jobs lined out and am going to use the primer and sealer on them with some sherwin base and finish 1 clear. Hope it all goes well. I have only used sherwin ultra 7000 line.
