Rate of pay for journeyman painter?????

Just curious as to what the average rate of pay is for a qualified painter is in Manitoba Canada,been in the trade for a few years now,flat rate for the past 3 years,wondering what or if there is a set rate.

There is a government site that shows average pay ranges in different provinces for specific jobs. I don’t have it off hand, however. But you are probably going to find the average between $18-30…with somewhere around the middle being average. Are you in Winnipeg or a smaller community?
I’m a half hour outside Wpg,where it’s near impossible to find qualified workers,I work for GM dealership,seems wages are”top secret”in our shop.
I average 120-160 hrs every 2 weeks,but they only pay $18 an hour,which I figured was low,I got to find this site.
I don’t have my papers yet,but I’m going to challenge my levels as I have the hours.
