Red paint

Hey guys,
I need your advice on what red paint to get. I want to do a nice metallic red. Base/clear. Any brands that you would recommend?
I ordered some house of kolor meteor maroon 2 and it should be in the end of this week. I will be spraying some practice panels and will post some pictures if you would like to see it in the sun.
Check out Standox “red rocket” it has a really good effect in the sun. utube it.

Have you checked on any prices on any red’s yet? If not be prepared to spend a lot. Seems to be the most expensive color to have mixed. Cheapest I’ve seen so far was in the Nason line and it was around $40 a qt but not sure about coverage. Once you step up to Dupont and any other reputable name brand you are looking at around $200+ a qt.
Yeah Ive been pricing out a bunch of different brands and what not. What does anyone think about Firethron red pearl from TCP Global? Or Candy apple red metallic from paintforcars.com? Both base/clear. The firethron red is more expensive, but I think I like it a bit better.
What about Ford Ruby Red with tinted clearcoat?
