removing epoxy primer overspray from black rubber

    Ive got some green epoxy overspray(HOK kp2cf) on the black rubber window weatherstripping on an old Ford.Lacquer thinner isnt removing it.Will uro reducer do the trick? Thanks Great website!

    Stone is right. It’s the one thing on the scales that doesn’t come off with thinner or aircraft remover
    Try to scratch/pick it off

    yup try to pick off the bigger spots and work your way down to except able doubt you’ll get it all off :blush:

    and next time , get on it sooner and it will wash of with lacquer

    After you chip of what you can you can try touching up the molding with a black sharpe, other then that you a bit on the screwed side. Welcome to the forum btw.

    Just keep soaking it with reducer or thinner and it will eventually come off.. While epoxy sticks to everything and once it locks up its hard to remove, it will come off 😉
