Anyone using, the sata rps cups? Just got the system, don’t know if I love them yet. I hate having to put together the cups and they take up twice the room storing because you cant stack them. Any opinions??

I use them. I have also used every other disposable cup system out there and prefer the RPS cups hands down. It is actually like a real cup. Once you learn to make sure the vent hole is sealed before pouring paint you will love them.

started using them afew months ago. awsome, the satas work much better with the air hole and they cost less then 3m.

I use them also I love them and my cups come stacked 3 sets 19 high in the box….. hahahaha

also I have forgotten to push the vent in all the way when pouring into the cup… ah yes it sucks :teach I’m a slow learner :chair

yup. Been there, done that. The first time i used them i forgot to push the vent and lost almost a Qt. of clear. besides the cost (around 85 bucks  ) it was a terrible mess. After that i learned quick and do like them.

more than once I’ve poured paint into a PPS or Norton cup without putting the liner in  . Also have put the cups on the gun while forgetting the nozzle and air cap were off

I’ve used both RPS and the PPS cups, and i like that they are disposable. haha the vent… the only other issue i have is when color matching you’ve got to take the cup off the gun, open it up, add a drop or two, then reassemble. much better than PPS imho because of the vent- the material comes out fast enough haha. but i gotta say that shooting at ANY angle is the shining point of the 3M PPS.
We’ve stopped using RPS now and I use the cups that come with the gun and just clean them… the price seems prohibitive.

I also tryed cleaning the rps cups that came with my RP, after i reused it 3 or 4 times it seemed that the plastic had lost its strength and when i tryed to tighten the lid the whole cup collapsed and lost another Qt. of clear ($85) :S . Im guessing they are disposal for a reason. :lol1 I am now using the Norton disposal liners.I thinking im paying like a 100 bucks for a box.
