[quote=”ding” post=29751]So I hear the Sagola is a mighty spray gun that can deliver a finish that rivals or beats that of a SATA. however I have seen 2 “off the gun” finishes from the mighty Sagola. One was clearly sanded and buffed already and one looks like corn on the cob. Does anyone have photos of their Sagola off the gun finish they wish to post. Heck, While we are at it, lets see some SATA off the gun finishes as well.

Thats pretty shitty to pull a pic from another guys site without concent, call him a liar, and bash his product. Not cool bro. Used to have a little respect for you.

Sorry. Didnt realize you were so sensitive.
First off, this tread was started as a humorous response to your buddies over there that had to pull up a 2 year old thread to try and start shit. if you come up for air long enough you would realize that.
Second of all, the fact that there is a buffing rag on the car and compound spatter in the first photo suggests that the car was already buffed. This was already questioned on your buddies site, by me. nothing earth shattering there, and certainly not stating something behind someones back that wasnt already stated to them.
Third, I didnt see any copywrite on the photos. people grab photos off the net all the time and post them. Ever here of the Chive, or Reddit. The issue comes when you claim someone elses photos as your own. Dont believe I did that here. however I do remember someone doing that on your buddies site at one time.Let us know how that Sagola works out. Post a photo when you paint something with it. Just so you know, my SATA can spray that crappy SW stuff just as nice as it sprays high end stuff, so maybe your issue wasnt really the materials

January 30, 2013 at 2:36 am #40815Nice stuff Andy. Never really got a good chance to try an Iwata. I used to use my NR2000 hvlp for clear and that was pretty slow. and I hear the iwatas arent really fast. If you had to do a complete, would your arm fall off
January 30, 2013 at 2:58 am #40816A w400 isn’t terribly slow. Not an RP though…..but definitely faster than a nr2000. The lph is the one that is deathly slow with clear…even though it will lay out a nice finish.
😛

Attachments:January 30, 2013 at 5:28 am #40827Thats very possible. But it was a hurry up job and pretty cold. With that small of parts, it was cleared before I really even had time to make any adjustments. Id really like to do an overall with it to see how it performs after tweaks. Not making excuses, but it was hardly a fair shot. Rest assured, if it sucks, you will know because it will be for sale and I will be super pissed! I sprayed a little corner on a Mini Cooper today, it was a little better than last time, but I had to match factory peel and didnt get to go for a smooth spray. And since you like pics, this should fit somewhere between buffed and corn cob.

keep em coming :cheersJanuary 30, 2013 at 6:38 am #40842Im hoping by Friday or Monday I will be done with the GTO and get to spray that one. I should learn a lot by doing an overall of that size. And being black may make it even easier to see whats going on. Unfortuantely I dont know that I will be spraying it with. I was going to try to do it in single stage, but these fellers are kind of odd sometimes, so they may just want it base/clear.
January 30, 2013 at 6:55 am #40848stick with what you know. trying new stuff on a complete is a good way to have a bad day.
