I will have a sata 4000RP this Friday to give it a real good work out.I will give a follow up report after I use it for a couple of days if anyone is interested. My supplier has them on the shelf ready for sale. :clappy :cheers :stoned
December 9, 2010 at 11:04 am #26037Talk to your supplier and see what he can do for you…I can’t help you with that.I’m not making any deal until I see if I like it better than what I have already.
December 10, 2010 at 3:54 am #26058Actually I will test drive it for a few days and buy it as a demo model :stoned Funny you guys don’t have them in the states yet.

4000 has been available all month…..same price as the 3000shttp://www.autobodytoolmart.com/satajet-4000-b-paint-guns-p-17675.aspx
MY CATALOG THEY SENT ME SHOWS PRICES AND AVAILABILITY.
no look closer at your material the 4000 HVLP has been available NOT THE RP! the price is not them same either the 4000’S come with no cup for $695 while the 3000’s do extra cup is $80 or 3m adapter is $10 I suppose you can say its the same if you never needed to use the cup but then the 3000 without a cup should cost $80 less IMO but thats not available :deadhorse
December 12, 2010 at 4:18 am #26099I think this is the new trend, the new iwata’s don’t come with a cup either. Most guys use the rps cups anyway but it would be nice if they gave you a choice.By the time I got it on friday I only had time to use it on one job,but it performed flawlessly. After I use it for a couple of days I will let you guys know…and it is an rp,not hvlp we have them here.maybe your state is slow to get on board with aproval.
December 12, 2010 at 5:06 am #26101The US government slow Jayson… no fuking way. I am sure they have a special division with about 50 salaried employees all of which know nothing about sprayguns. You would be lucky to find 2 of them actually working.
I do know that spray gun companies have to jump through hoops to get guns approved for sale here.
December 12, 2010 at 6:37 am #26102
Like I said wydir my catalog that I get every month has the 4000RP…..same price as the 3000….minus cup.
The one I just got in the mail today only list the hvlp guns.
