SATA air distribution ring

Howdy,
Forgot to clean out my Minijet after I sprayed some epoxy primer a few weeks ago. Is it possible to remove the air distribution ring without damage it and reuse it?

I haven’t tried but I would think you could (I know they say once you take it out it should be replaced)
I would try it then order a new ring just in case.
Why don’t you take the nozzle set out then just soak the head of the spraygun in a cup full of fresh gunwash for a few hrs to soften it.You might be able to get it clean with out taking out the ring.
i take mine out all the time. sata has a tool for it. not that it works that great and is a pia but i do pull them out and put them back in whenever i soak my guns. it is one of those things though that you should always keep a spare of.
