Has anyone used the new sata 4 minijet with the 1.4 SR tip? I want to know how it performs

It’s a Sata so I’m sure it’s good. But putting a 1.4 in a mini jet kinda defeats the purpose. Might as well just use the full size version 😉

I have one with a 1.2 and I love it. Works great for small jobs, spotting in fenders, trimming out doors, touching up small stuff. Shoots everything that I need it to with no problems. Sealer, base and it lays clear flat. Plus it cleans up so easy.

i have one with a 1.0, another with a 1.2. both are great guns. you cant go wrong. i just picked up the 1.2 not long ago. if i had the option of the 1.4 i would have taken it in that size.

I remember a awhile back the 1.4 tip was brought up to be used in the minijet and SATA said they would never release a tip that big for a minijet
and said the 1.2sr was going to be it.

I was still unaware they had tips bigger that 1.2sr.

I just got a new catalogue and its promoting the new 1.4sr for even spraying completes… hah thats a funny thought eh….mini jet spraying a complete

I will stick with my HVLP and RP but its a decent attempt i’m sure it will be a nice gun my 1.0 mini is nice and 1.0 dekor I would rather have another minijet

Also consider the Devilbiss SRi Pro.

Comes with either an HVLP air cap or an RP type.
