    !Need Help!

I never could never lay metallics down good with any of the Iwata guns. I have the LV,LVX,LVB and LS400(Supernova). I spray all my metallics with my Sata Nr 3000 hvlp 1.3 and it lays down great. But whenever I use my Iwata ,I run into hell. What is the difference in technique with these guns. I read and hear that they are amazing guns but I haven’t mastered them yet. So I know this is the second time but can someone give me more advice. I’ve checked the spray patterns on all the guns and they are solid so it has to be my technique.

    Thanks guys :wak

Its not you its just the nature of the gun. Dont get me wrong, I love my Iwata. I can get good results with the LVB most of the time. I set it full fan, full fluid, about 13 lbs air pressure and about 3″ from the pannel. It takes some practice to master it. Forget about the LV and LVX caps for met. They just dont give good results imo. They do work great for solids and darker colors and work awesome for clear! I always end up using my 2000 or 3000 HVLP for my metalics.

Your problem is very simple. Too many guns to keep track and so you become confused.
The solution is also very simple: give me the supernova.
