I was posting here about 6 months ago how great it was to do your own scrap metal for a quick extra few hundred / load. The gravy train seems to have stopped. I guess with the economy going for a crap, metal prices are going with it. A haul that brought me $300 a few months ago only brought me in about $30 this time. That’s quite a difference!

November 12, 2008 at 5:34 am #11808Hey scrap really took a dive,I believe here in South Carolina its about 2.80 a hundred down along way from 11.30 a hundred.
