Ok its been a while since I have been on here and hope all is well with all of you. So I have been doing vinyl lettering and graphics just trying to get more business than with just painting. I had a customer come in and want some vinyl lettering done on the Mold board of a few Brand new Boss Plows. he wants me to clear over and bury the vinyl, customer claims to have had this done before with great results for longevity of the plow itself. Now my question is What clear to use? as some of you may remember I use PPG I have some Delfleet Evolution chemical resistant clear and the normal clears like DC4000 and DCU 2021. was also thinking of the Ceramiclear scratch resistant clear but I have never used it.

I am open to any brand

the plows are brand new possibly powder coated not 100% sure on this but highly probable..

    Thanks

oh my….. posted this in the wrong section…… ahh noobs…..

Ceramiclear IMO. My father used it on his plow about 5 years ago and it is holding up well.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you happen to know how much he used? According to my pricelist it only come in quarts not a big deal just want to get the quote as close as I can.

    Thank you again

No prob Wydir, P-190-6490 is the number here in Canada and yes it only comes in quarts, it should be enough depending on the size of the plow.
