Thought I would share this find.
So after several years of abuse my favorite Mac Tools heavy duty angle die grinder decided to wear out. Air motor is still perfect but the gears stripped in the head.
Since we don’t have a Mac guy in town anymore I decided to go online for a suitable replacement.
I stumbled upon an SP air tools brand that I had never heard of that looked strikingly similar to my Mac.
Checked amazon and they had the sp for $113 where the Mac runs $239.
Figured I would take a shot and buy the sp to see if it was just a knockoff or what.
Here is what showed up in the mail…..

Identical except for the name and works awesome.
If you are looking for a nice angle die give this thing a try.
😆 The SP is the original, factory is in Japan. http://www.spair.co.jp/en/
They’re quite big here in Australia. Good solid air tools and a huge range of other tools as well, all top quality.
That was a killer deal you got. That same tool has a list price of $319 here.
