    Guy brought up his monte to have the door painted. it was fixed before somewhere and the color didnt match very well. he doesnt want to blend anything either :whistle:

    So I start detriming the door. took the handle out and

    Nothing Like not sanding before we paint :blink:
    they didnt even sand before putting filler over the paint either :wak

    So I get the dynabrade out and find

    so we knocked about 3 coats of paint and some filler off the door. straightened and redid some body work and blocked the door with 80 then some 180.

    got it in the booth for a little primer and play ring around the rosie :whistle:

    4 coats of colorbuild plus and tomm I’ll block it out again and see where we are at

    I hate those jobs too.It looks like my competitions work :rofl It will be fun to see how the door matches again with out blending into the adjacent panels. Some customers just dont want to understand.

    pull about a third of the green shade blu outta the mix an give it a shot
    add some back as needed

    Sorry. no green shade blue.Just Black, white, white pearl,silver, phtalo blue and violet.

    Did you notice there were 2 colors on the spray out? tough to tell with photos on the PC

    Probably going to be a pita to tint.. You might consider blending.. I know it will take more time, but how much time will you have tinting that color? Scuff, tape and shoot..

    Your right Joe and I went over that with the guy but he’s dead set against blending for :wak
    but he’s paying me for all my time i have in it , so be it

    why is he aganist blending? does he think it is a painter’s shortcut for a bad match?
