SPIES is the same paint as standox 99% I’m sure I’m right.ASK your rep.if it is brilliant stuff.used water base for 16 years .using water base for your first time .completely different ball game. But once mastered its so easy .a walk in the park..It will probably pull your hair out for the first 6 months.
January 11, 2011 at 3:34 am #27025I looked up the new spies base and it looks identical to Cromax Pro.
Hope the color match is better than Cromax
i never used sikkens water there solvent base is awesome, my shop switched from sikkens to spies before i got there, aperently they didnt like the sikkens water, so we are now useing spies solvent but where waiting for the new waterborne to come out and then switch to that, so im assumeing within the year ill have a go at the new spies water
