I’m looking at either a MagnaSpot 4500 – the only kind I have ever used before –

I don’t know too much about the MagnaSpot but I have a Uni-Spotter and it works great. I have had it for a little over a year and I use it pretty often and so far I haven’t had any problems at all.

$103 is ridiculous!
you can try smartshoppersinc.com i think its like 80-90 bucks but 103 is aboutthe average price for clamps just about anywhere
Nuts. I don’t really need the ‘frame-puller’ type of hardcore clamps, since I just want to tug on some studs. Is there a cheapo alternative, or am I going to have to rig up something cheaper?
It’s about 70 through my supplier.
It is pretty crazy how much those frame clamps cost though.
