    I like that car Han…

No need to buy a body kit. that’s cheating. You can make your own by cutting right above the wheel flare and pulling it out and welding it 2 or 3″ use a strip to fill in the gap. Maybe take the top down a little or rake it to give a different look. You could get really crazy and cut the whole car down the side and remove an inch or two to give it a different look that makes people look at it and scratch their heads. Or go the other way and make the car or truck wider by splitting it down the middle and install wider axles or leave the axles stock width and install wide wheels and tires along with the flared fenders to give it a rallye look.

    Just thoughts. 😛

Endless customization. The Miata is one of the best handling roadsters for
the money. And turning it into a coupe is probably the most functional mod
one can do. This looks stock and clean, kinda like a baby Rx7. Tastefully done.
Most guys seem to go for wild (tacky) customs, when subtle – and just as time
    consuming – customization looks better.

If you don’t go with a kit car, i’d say find something that’s rare and will make people think… wtf is that?

How much do you suppose thats worth to sell? How much did it cost not including your time?

Build a Factory Five 65 Shelby Coupe Daytona.

Get a little creative with the Engine selection and underhood look. And do something different with the paint.

It’s a nice looking car. Has function. Pretty rare, And people usually keep them Blue with white stripes. So you could get creative with the paint and have a totally unique car.

They have their prices listed on their site.
Most people use the drive train out of late model mustangs in them.

Are they expensive? Well you could build one for under the cost of a new car. But they’re definitely not cheap.

If you’re gonna sell it when its finished a factory five roadster is tough to beat. Easy to unload.

I looked into building one a few years back and figured it would take around $30K to do with mostly new drivetrain stuff and make it nice.

Yeah, you could easily unload a Factory Five Roadster or a Coupe for what it would cost you to build it.

I don’t think I could personally finance one at the moment, but maybe I’ll talk the old man into buying one as a filler job once we loose the old volvo.
