Hey gang… Im doing a super duty with the plastic bed rail caps on top. I need to remove them before painting. I looked under it and there is a ship load of tabs. I heard that they are pretty hard to get them all lose and pushed out with out breaking them.
Any tips?
Do like Stone said. Once you get started, use a trim panel tool or something similar on the top side to put a little pressure exactly where the tabs are and that can help when squeezing the bottom.
I find these are usually fairly easy to get off with out snapping them. Good luck

Thanks guys, I have the bed off the truck standing up right on the front on the ground. I can see the little plugs you guys are talking about. I will get it try and let you know.
I would love to rip them off and get new ones but these are nice and I want to reuse them.
The other bed I have to do they are damaged and I will rip them on and buy new ones.
Anyone help me out with a new set 1for the sides and rear tail gate piece? They are pretty pricey from ford.
