Have any of you guys used the LS400 hybrid? Just curious how it sprays. I have been demoing the hvlp ls400 silver cap gun for the past week. Ive got to say, I was sceptical at first but I really like it for energy pro and HS+. I never thought it would spray energy pro like it does due to how slow it is. Its pretty slow, slower than I would like but it does me a great job. I have no plans of buying one right now, that is not until I demo the Hybrid and a sata 4000RP.

Get yourself a 3000RP and call it done. You’ll be much happier.

I have been using a 3000 rp also. It does a good job but its loud and a material hog.

I have used one with a 1.4 nozzle a few times. It was too large of a nozzle for the clear I’m using so I can’t really give you a good comparison. One thing I did notice was it did put out more material but didn’t seem to atomize as good. I wasn’t immediately impressed though. I would like to try the WS400 version more than the LS personally.

I will say my W-400lv does do a nice job with HS+.

Thanks Ryan! I am still thinking about converting my LPH into a W400LV. I just use my lph for sealer alot thats why I havent yet. I have been using my LPH for HS+ and Energy pro and havnot had that great of results. I usally get runs trying to make it look good. So I started using the 3000 rp and it looks way better but I still tend to put it on heavy. Using the supernova, It goes down slick, just slowwww. I dont get runs with it like I do the other two guns. I just dont want thst to happen with a W400LV.

Easy fix, get a smaller nozzle.

Just went over and checked out autobodystore. It looks like you an Jayson started a real s@#t storm over there! Thats why I dont go there much. Everyone is just so in love with that stupid plus gun.

What nozzle size do you use?

This may not be the answer you want but if the Supernova is giving you the results you like, just deal with the speed or bump the nozzle size up one. I would rather have a slow gun that gives me the desired results than a fast gun that gives you fits.

HS+ isn’t my go to clear for great looks anyway. It is alright but it can be a bit finicky in my opinion. It is not Superior
