Temp in spraybooth

    Just a quick question..

    what temp do you like to keep your booth at when laquering and what activator (hardener) you prefer etc.. ie fast. meduim ,slow

    lacquer? :huh: no activator or hardener …. point and shoot :kofee

    your using lacquer ? :huh: or do you mean clear coat ? :unsure:

    They call 2K clear laquer in the UK.

    I keep my booth around 75 degrees F. Not sure what that is in celcius. Reducer and hardener selection depends on the particular clear and size of the job.

    As Ryanbrown said the type of hardener depends on the type of job.
    ie. slow hardener for full resprays or fast hardener for single panels etc…

    20-25 deg ! but look a tds sheet for your clear coat that will tell you all you need to know— tip size —temp—hardner—thinners etc

    Depends on the product, size of job and gun setup.

    For typical collision repairs medium activator is usually good, and having the booth around 25 seems to be comfortable. I spray a little on the heavy side, so heat is a very good thing.
