    Well after buy 3 or 4 late model low mileage cars at the auction to fix for the wife over the last 5 years (seemed to sell parts off of them before I had a chance to fix them :whistle: ) I finally got a clean title 12 year old impala for her :lol1 :lol1
    they hit the guard rails on the lt side and it had some prior damage on the rt side

    Spent 2 nights doing the body work. then primed it Thanksgiving morning and prepped it friday night
    Final Saturday afternoon I got it in the booth ready to spray

    All Sealed up

    And the clear before baking it. Had a few sags in the first coat I had to take out with some 1 1/2″ :blush:

    It’s baking now so we’ll see how many more I have to take out when its done :unsure:

    Used Diamont base and that runny HS+ clear. Wanted to try some matrix AG40 but they didnt get it to me in time

    Car looks great! What is the HS+ clear? who makes it? What’s your favorite clear? Do you think cost plays a big factor in quality of clear, or do you find the smaller companies can hold there own against the big guys clear?
